Probably the most delightful book I’ve read in a while (and I read a lot!) The book itself is great. Love the feel of the cover and the pages. Can hold it without worrying about damaging the spine or cover because of the material the cover is made of. Wish all my books had this cover. To make the text fit, some letters are randomly mushed together, but easily read and it didn’t bother me at all, may bother some others. I really liked this book experience. Highly recommend! Wish I knew the publisher so I can order more.

Wonderful story. Written in an older style than what you see on the market today with copious description, outdated words (that you can usually figure out from the context), and switching from one characters point of view to another with little or no warning. Some people enjoy lots of description and much of it is beautifully done. Some find it great to know what each character in a scene is thinking.

It lags a bit in the middle with all the description and newfound happiness. But I love how the main character changes, and how those changes shock amd even horrify her family, providing humor and a desire to cheer for the heroine!
